I. Note Pathways on Each String
In this lesson by "Notati," we move from the general overview to the fine details of each string. Every string on the Oud has its own "personality" and a specific set of notes that begin from the open string and ascend with your finger movements. Here, we link every note you play to its correct position on the musical staff, so you know exactly where the high notes of the Kardan string lie and how the tones roll down through the Nawa, Dukah, and Ashiran strings, reaching the deepest notes of the Buselik string.
