Positive Music: Monifah's Positive Songs And Popular Songs

Monifah's songs have been considered positive songs by those directly affected by their lyrics. Monifah is a recording artist who has diverse tastes and an eclectic style. In her early career she created r&b albums with the likes of Heavy D. With interest in dance and more personal music themes, she had hits like "Touch It" and more. Monifah entered into personal struggles in connection with her departure with a music label and childhood abandonment issues, which she discussed on television years later
.
Having made an impact in the music industry, and never forgotten by those inspired by her style and voice, Monifah returned to the limelight with a reality show as the avenue. The music, however, remains most important to those who find their inspiration in the form of rhyme, melody and lyrics. These features, Monifah has plenty of in her popular music. One of those songs in particular had positive music themes. This song, "I Can Tell," was created by Monifah to help educate women who seemed to be uniformed about the world of people who have double lives and who, simply, don't show signs of sincere affection in their attitudes, behaviors and so on.
The song had the specific theme of "I Can Tell," a motivational theme which helped instruct people to look past appearances- or, at times, look more carefully at them. Lines which describe identifying how a potential partner treats past partners and evaluating the level of responsibility they have in several areas were unique. These themes generally weren't popular in music at the time, and the song was groundbreaking in identifying the phenomenon of hidden sexual preference. Monifah, who later revealed she was bisexual had intimate knowledge of how informative songs can function as positive songs in the lives of people who are uniformed.
And while being deceptive about sexuality and infidelity in particular is not being demonized, the issue is being brought to light with the purpose of encouraging people to realize facts that can inspire them to protect themselves more in the bedroom and in their emotional health. In watching some of the interpretations of behavior in shows like those Monifah has come to star on, it's a wonder that many people can be unaware of the subtle signs of sincerity and lack of it which identify people's preferences and motivations. So long as this lack of education or awareness exists, positive songs and positive music like those honest songs composed by Monifah may help make a difference.
